We were lucky to have a Vendor table at Conquest on Sunday 5th of April. Conquest is an annual tabletop and LARP event in Coburg, showcasing a mix of D&D and indie games. The Conquest team includes queer folk, so it's always lovely to be part of this steadily growing event.
It was fantastic to connect with people already in our Melbourne Queer TTRPGs community and meet new people who didn’t know we existed.
Ro and Stevie had a delightful time talking about everything the Melb Queer TTRPG Community Inc. is up to and about our future plans.
Port Play is a 2 day tabletop gaming and art festival happening at the St Kilda Town Hall and the St Kilda Library running 18th and 19th April. It includes a maker’s market, game demos, indie tabletop showcase, and a D&D Epic on the Saturday night.
We are delighted to have a Vendor table at Port Play. This vendor table will have a selection of TTRPGs and Zines from community creators for sale. Come down and check them out!
Meetup:
We will also have a meetup 3:30-5:00pm Sunday 19th April. Come meet the Community! Hang out, play games and more with the Melbourne Queer TTRPG Community. We’d love to see you there.
In February 2026, the Melbourne Queer TTRPG Community officially became an Incorporated Association, and we’ve been working very hard behind the scenes to make sure real benefits get to you.
About the Committee
Stevie Schafer (he/him) - President
Zoi Jahau (they/them) - Treasurer
Ro Stevens (she/her) - Secretary
Logan Timmins (he/him) - Vice President
T (he/him) - Committee Member
We’ve applied for the Victoria Government’s LGBTQIA+ Organisational Development grant. Our proposal was centred around getting a consultant in to help create our 12 month strategy, improving our custom constitution, and upskilling the committee to better serve you, the community.
What’s Next:
The next grant we’re going for is the Lesbians Inc. grant for some Sapphic specific programming for the community. We’re aiming to have something in person and online for the Sapphics. But we will keep you posted about the outcome.
Overall, our hope is to provide what you have told us you want - more events, more play, more connection.
